 Annabel Goldie
Scottish Conservative MSP for the West of Scotland
Annabel Goldie was elected to the Scottish Parliament in 1999 and was elected leader of the Scottish Conservative & Unionist Party in November 2005. She is one of two West of Scotland Regional Conservative MSPs, the other being Jackson Carlaw.
Annabel was born in Glasgow, and now lives in Renfrewshire. Educated at Greenock Academy, Annabel graduated from Strathclyde University in 1971 with a Law degree.
Before becoming an MSP, Annabel was a partner in a Law firm in Glasgow. She is still a partner with the firm, but no longer practices due to her commitments with the Scottish Parliament.
In her spare time, Annabel loves to get outdoors, whether it be bird watching, gardening or cycling. She also enjoys going to the cinema or a concert on occasion.
