Adobe Acrobat Reader: Accessing PDF documents

Site Requirements

Current versions of Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Opera and Mozilla have all been tested and work with this site. Older versions should work properly depending on how old the version is.

It is necessary to have images enabled to view the site the way it is intended to look. The site will be perfectly readable and function properly without images enabled, but certain elements of the site may be confusing without images visible. Where images are not simply part of the page layout, alternative text has been added to the images to make their purpose clear.

Certain documents on this site require the use of Adobe Acrobat Reader to read them. See the "Accessing PDF documents" section below for more information.

Navigating the site

The site is a hierarchical structure. The main page divides the site into a number of sections relating to Campbell Murdoch, Murray Tosh, Young Conservatives and the Press Release area.

Each of these sections has a menu on the right of the section page which gives you information on the further pages available in these sections.

Throughout the site, an effort has been made to give strong visual clues to aid navigation. Where a link leads to a page which will give you more detailed information about a particular subject, an arrow ( ) will be displayed to the left of the link. Alternatively, if a link leads to a page "above" the current page, then an upward pointing arrow ( ) will be shown to the left of the link. On occasions where anchors or bookmarks are linked to move the user down a page, the link has a downward pointing arrow ( ) positioned to the left of it. An example of this can be seen at the top of this page.

In all pages except the home page, a menu will give clear information about the current position in the site. At the top of the menu are links to pages which are above the current page (these show the upward pointing arrow ). Note that these are not necessarily the pages that you used to get to the current page. They are simply a guide to your position within the site. Below these link(s) is black text in bold. This gives the title of the current page. Below this text, a list of links showing any pages which are accessible from the current page are shown. There may or may not be any links in this position depending on the page being accessed. These links will of course have an arrow ( ) to the left of them. Many of these links will also feature in the content of the page and can be accessed from either link.
